Field Service Representative (High Voltage)

Your Day-to-Day

You handle on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of high-voltage equipment – from air- and gas-insulated switchgear to power transformers – ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics, timely service and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission AIS, GIS and power transformers
• Perform electrical testing on HV apparatus (circuit-breakers, CTs, PTs, transformers)
• SF6 gas handling and interpretation of electrical schematics
• Rapid-response site visits, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance
• Complete service documentation and maintain close customer contact

What You Bring

• Electrical trade certificate, engineering technician diploma or equivalent; OEM, industrial or utility background preferred
• Australian electrical licence mandatory
• 5–10 years HV experience; ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Strong safety mindset, teamwork, flexibility for up to 70 % travel
• Commitment to Siemens Energy EHS, quality and environmental standards
