Head of Risk Management & Internal Control System (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

• Lead CKW’s enterprise-wide integrated risk-management system by identifying, analysing and assessing market, credit, counter-party, liquidity, strategic, operational and regulatory risks.
• Monitor trading activities, define the energy-sector hedging strategy and ensure its consistent implementation.
• Provide target-group-oriented reports to the Executive Board, the Board of Directors and the Group.
• Act as a sparring partner for the Executive Board and management on risk and decision-making issues.
• Ensure the currency, effectiveness and digitalisation of the internal control system (ICS) and drive its automation.
• Interface with Axpo Group Business Continuity Management to strengthen corporate resilience.
• Lead the Risk Management team, define processes and methods and continuously develop risk management.

Your profile

• University degree in mathematics, natural sciences or statistics complemented by business knowledge, or a business degree with a quantitative focus.
• Extensive experience in risk management, preferably in the energy industry, ideally combined with ICS knowledge.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, process-oriented with a balance between precision and pragmatism.
• Pro-active, enjoy cross-functional collaboration and take responsibility as a shaper.
• Integrative leader who drives change and motivates teams.
• Confident communication in German and English.
