Maintenance Manager

In Israel we provide products and solutions for power generation and transmission and are responsible for 40% of the national electricity production. Our portfolio includes conventional and renewable energy technologies as well as digital services to meet changing market requirements.

For our power plant in Palmachim we are looking for a Maintenance Manager – a valid electrical engineer license is mandatory.

Location: Palmachim Power Plant (near Ikea Rishon LeZion), 20 employees, 3 in maintenance.

Working hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00; on-call 24/7 for faults, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation & control systems
• Lead and coach the maintenance team to ensure high performance
• Direct customer, supplier and authority contact to ensure customer satisfaction
• Organize and lead annual plant shutdown (turbine and auxiliary refurbishment)
• Supervise field work, manage changes and faults during shutdowns
• Manage contractors including briefing and instruction for tasks
• Support system upgrades and new internal projects
• Maintain high safety standards
• Manage spare-parts inventory and procurement planning
• Prepare weekly status and performance reports

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in electrical engineering and valid electrical engineer license – mandatory!
• At least 6 years maintenance experience in power plants or process industries
• Previous people management experience, ideally leading a maintenance team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• High-level English: reading, writing and speaking
• Business acumen and negotiation skills
• Full proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings
• Willingness for occasional business trips abroad
• Combination of office and field work; full-time, overtime and weekend call-outs when required
