Project Planner

Vestas – the world’s leading wind energy company and the planet’s most sustainable corporation – is looking for a Project Planner to join our Australia & New Zealand (AUNZ) team. Reporting to the APAC Planning Manager, you will drive the planning and scheduling of wind-farm construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery. Hands-on expertise with Primavera P6 is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tender schedules and subcontractor programmes
• Own and maintain master EPC construction schedules throughout the build
• Update project schedules weekly/monthly
• Support the contracts team on extension-of-time (EOT) claims
• Deliver client-facing progress reports
• Develop what-if scenarios and recovery plans
• Utilise internal reporting tools and dashboards for senior management
• Monitor critical path performance and mitigate delays
• Ensure all contractual schedule obligations are met

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ EPC construction planning experience using Primavera P6
• Trade or tertiary qualification in construction, engineering or renewables (preferred)
• Knowledge of PMI or AACE scheduling practices (advantageous)
• Strong command of critical-path method, delay analysis and S-curve reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project knowledge a plus
• Business-fluent English
