Seasonal Field Blade/Welder

A Snapshot of Your Day

This is a fast-paced role based at customer sites, supporting the energy sector with varied welding and turbine repair tasks. Assignments range from welding support to blade installation on diverse components. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, often at short notice, is essential.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute precision welding operations to meet manufacturing and engineering specifications for turbine-generator field-service equipment.
• Heavy travel required (all business expenses covered).
• High overtime availability, including 12-hour shifts.
• Mechanical assembly of turbine blades and components, including hand riveting.

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or equivalent; two-year technical diploma or certificate in welding/manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum three years of welding experience.
• Proficient in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW processes.
• Able to pass 6G heavy-wall weld test in both GTAW and SMAW on carbon and stainless steels.
• Basic PC skills for expense reporting.
• Must pass drug screen and comprehensive background check for unescorted nuclear-site access; legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
