Senior Product Manager – Energy Retail & Services (m/f/d)

With Heartbeat AI, 1KOMMA5° is building Europe’s leading energy-software platform. We give customers a one-stop-shop for PV, battery storage, heat pumps and EV chargers, digitally optimized for maximum return and immediate decarbonization of home, mobility and life.

To realize our vision of “living on wind and sunlight forever for free”, we are extending Heartbeat AI into a global energy-retail and services provider. We are strengthening our Product Team in Berlin, Hamburg or Munich as soon as possible.

Your mission

• Product strategy: Define and drive the international energy-retail vision and roadmap—from dynamic tariffs and billing to flexible services.
• Standardization & scale: Align technical processes, regulatory interfaces and partner integrations for repeatable, compliant roll-outs across markets.
• Market intelligence: Analyse regulatory frameworks, trading mechanisms and pricing innovations in European markets to identify growth opportunities.
• Stakeholder leadership: Coordinate engineering, energy operations, trading and external partners to deliver secure, compliant and profitable products.
• KPI governance: Define metrics for product performance, operational efficiency and profitability; drive continuous optimization.
• Go-to-market: Collaborate with sales, marketing and customer success on positioning, pricing and customer communication.

Your profile

• 4+ years in product management within energy retail, billing, market communication or trading, ideally across multiple EU markets.
• Proven track record of building or scaling tariff and billing products including regulatory compliance.
• Deep understanding of European energy markets, balancing, settlement and dynamic pricing models.
• Experience with energy trading, billing or MDM systems; ability to run complex integration projects together with engineering.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in German and English.
