About You and The Role

The Application Software team creates the systems that run every part of Zipline—from factory floor to real-time delivery. We build the “operating system” that manages hardware production, inventory, customer engagement, fulfilment, flight, and delivery at scale. Our work spans internal platforms for manufacturing and finance as well as consumer-facing apps that let customers order and track deliveries.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end development of critical features in our React Native mobile and web apps
• Architect and evolve the React Native codebase for scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Drive quality initiatives: integration testing, performance monitoring, CI/CD automation
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to ship fast, elegant, customer-centric features
• Extend app capabilities with native modules and platform APIs when required
• Influence our mobile technical roadmap and uphold engineering best practices
• Mentor teammates via code reviews, architecture guidance, and shared decision-making

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years building high-quality mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript
• Deep knowledge of mobile architecture, performance optimisation, and testing
• Proven record of shipping user-facing features with cross-functional teams
• Technical leadership, roadmap influence, and mentorship experience
• Product mindset and passion for delightful customer experiences
• Excellent communication and end-to-end ownership mentality

Compensation & Benefits

Starting cash range: USD 170,000–210,000/year (≈ USD 14,167–17,500/month). Final pay depends on experience, skills, location, and impact. Package may include equity, bonuses, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and more.
