Junior Electrical Service Technician (m/f/d)

A snapshot of your day

You usually start the day by checking project updates and customer queries, followed by e-mails and team communication. Because "zero harm" guides every activity, the day begins with a safety briefing and on-the-spot risk assessment. You then test all binary and analogue signals required for generator control, correct any faults together with customers or subcontractors, adjust parameters and perform primary checks once the machine is started. After recording machine-specific characteristics and testing protective functions, commissioning is complete and the system is handed over. Between field assignments you provide remote technical support, analyse incidents and solve problems for internal and external customers worldwide.

How you will make an impact

• Work on excitation, protection and synchronisation systems for generators
• Optimise control and regulation
• Carry out trial operation, train customers and provide technical advice
• Act as the contact person for troubleshooting and incident analysis

What you bring

• University degree in electrical engineering
• Fluent English and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel (about 80 % of time to destinations worldwide)
• Independent and proactive mind-set
