As an SGT-A35 Service Engineer you will enhance the reliability and efficiency of our aeroderivative gas turbines and provide world-class service to our global customers. You will collaborate daily with diverse engineers worldwide in an inclusive, dynamic culture where every idea matters.How You Make an Impact• Own and deliver technical solutions for aeroderivative gas turbines, solving short- and long-term operational issues.• Apply Root Cause Analysis for cost-effective, customer-centric troubleshooting.• Create and update service documentation such as Service Bulletins, Technical Instructions and Troubleshooting Guides.• Present technical updates to customers, ensuring transparent and effective communication.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions successfully.• Travel occasionally to Siemens and customer sites worldwide for on-site support.• Support R&D projects that improve SGT-A35 KPIs on safety, reliability and efficiency.What You Bring• Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, preferably mechanical.• Expertise in aerospace or gas-turbine materials/manufacturing is a plus.• Solid understanding of gas-turbine operation, hardware and repair/overhaul processes.• Proficient in Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques.• Strong communication and reporting skills.• Experience working effectively with global, diverse teams.• Extensive background in industrial gas turbines or aero-derivative jet engines.About the TeamOur Gas Services division leads in low-emission power generation and decarbonisation solutions.
