Smart Meter Engineer (Scotland)

Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution and need smart meter engineers with a proven safety and customer-service record.

You will represent Octopus Energy in customers’ homes, fitting smart meters, demonstrating how the meter and in-home display work, explaining how they save energy and answering questions about the green-energy transition.

What you’ll need

• MOCoPA (within the last 3 years, evidence required)
• Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (max. 6 points)

Call-out & overtime

One-in-five-week call-out rota (Mon–Sun) with £250 retainer; door-to-door pay if called out.
Saturday rates: £50 attendance + £70 dual-fuel install / £35 single-fuel install. Technical aborts paid at half rate.
