Your Mission

As a Software Tools Engineer you will design, build and maintain internal and external annotation tools that feed our autonomy stack. Working side-by-side with Machine-Learning, Perception and Data-Platform teams, you will scale training-data quality and enable safe autonomous flight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and version web-based annotation tools (Python, Rust, SQL)
• Automate workflows and integrate external contractors (APIs, webhooks)
• Quality assurance: tracking, error analysis and feedback loops
• Close collaboration with Perception, ML and Data-Platform teams
• Documentation and support for internal users and external contractors

What You Bring

Required:

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• ≥3 years building internal software tools used by internal & external users
• Solid coding skills in Python, SQL or Rust
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, Git, CI/CD
• Strong communication and problem-solving ability

Preferred:

• UI/UX know-how and cloud/DevOps experience (AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of annotation platforms (Labelbox, v7, Encord, etc.)
• Background in autonomous systems, robotics or ML pipelines
• Agile mindset and passion for mentoring
