Working Student Energy Operations (f/m/d)

At 1KOMMA5° we are building Europe’s largest one-stop shop for renewable-energy installations, enabling every household to live, heat and drive climate-neutral—quickly and professionally. Join the energy revolution and help us reshape Europe’s energy supply for good.

To strengthen our Energy Operations team—preferably in Berlin—we are looking for a working student from now on. You will actively drive the energy transition, house by house, focusing on our dynamic electricity tariff Dynamic Pulse. Your work ensures that thousands of customers are supplied and billed smoothly while you gain deep insights into the German energy market and apply energy law in practice.

Your tasks:

• Process energy-industry workflows: After comprehensive onboarding you resolve complex customer cases that cannot yet be processed automatically.
• Process optimisation: You contribute ideas from daily operations to simplify and automate workflows in the long run.
• Market communication & clearing: You clarify open issues with distribution system operators, suppliers and other market partners by phone and email.

No prior power-market knowledge required—we will train you thoroughly. Motivation, quick comprehension and a steep learning curve are what count.

Time commitment: 10–15 h/week, ideally 15–20 h; up to 40 h during semester breaks.

What you bring:

• Enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters
• Fluent German, written and spoken
• First experience in the energy sector welcome, but not mandatory
