Are you passionate about imagining and creating software?

We are seeking a digitalisation specialist to join our on-site team at the Hull Blade Factory. You will be part of an inclusive team working towards a common goal.

As a Digitalisation Specialist, you will be involved in various tasks, focusing on developing and customising System Software and IT Solutions. Your role will include modifying existing software and creating new solutions from scratch

of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Developing business applications, system software, or IT solutions based on functional specifications.

• Customizing software, analysing programs, and defining necessary changes to improve functionality.

• Evaluating vendor solutions and drafting program layouts to ensure proper programming phases, including bug verification and testing.

• Designing and implementing interfaces between business applications.

• Collaborating with customers to create functional specifications and work estimates and support make-or-buy decisions.

• Analysing performance gaps in existing software environments and proposing efficiency improvements.

• Implementing data-driven components to support data modelling and engineering in the context of data analytics.

• Assisting with planning, budgeting, design, and aligning business processes and IT environments.

• Providing advice to business management on IT development-related issues.

• Offering technical support for business applications (standard software and custom development).

• Supporting migration projects, ensuring documentation, change plans, and release upgrades.

• Staying current with trends and industry standards in software programming, system integration, and IT development.

What You Need to Make a Difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

• High proficiency with the C# language and familiarity with ASP.NET

• Understanding of developing IT projects in collaboration with business experts is desirable.

• Strong skills in the Unity platform and experience with project design and implementation are preferred.
