We are looking for a person interested in project management, documentation, and quality. Do you thrive in a teamwork-environment, and do you know your way around a complex organization? Then don’t look any further and apply to become part of our team and help us to deliver quality documentation/data to our customers. The Project Documentation Management team is responsible for defining the standards, processes and tools related to the delivery of the documentation scope for our large offshore wind farm projects and ensuring the delivery of this package to our customers.

Our team members are responsible for managing the timely and quality delivery of the documentation scope on our various execution projects.  The candidate for this position will work on several projects at the same time, in close collaboration with the other Quality Documentation Coordinators (QDC) focusing on the WTG as-built package. The candidate will further support on ad hoc tasks for improvement of the as-built documentation scope.   The QDC team is daily in contact with Quality Project Managers (QMIP), Project Documentation Manager (PDM) and colleagues from Production and Service.  

How to contribute to our vision 

You ensure that the Quality Assurance documentation is gathered, prepared, and submitted from manufacturing, preassembly, installation, and commissioning according to contracts and requirements. You ensure that complete Quality Assurance documentation is delivered timely and according to standards and in the agreed format with our customer into the document management system. You collect documentation required for EU and EC declaration and prepare their issuance. You ensure traceability on Quality Documentation standard scope components. 

Your tasks in this position will more specifically be: 

  • Handle different types of Quality Assurance documents in relation to the customer contract and the ERP system (SAP and SAP4/Hana).
  • Prepare documentation according to the Project-Master Documentation List and the Quality Assurance index.
  • Perform check on individual documents to ensure quality and fulfill requirements. 
  • Create & maintain overview on Quality Assurance documentation deliverables (Workplan on Excel and Power BI).
  • Organize documentation according to required structure (You will be site administrator for SharePoint site used for reception of Quality Assurance documentation) and to ensure contractual archiving. 
  • Create standard documentation/declarations, extracting data from SAP or documentation Execute document transmittal in our document management system (example Aconex). 
  • Clarify Quality Assurance documentation topics together with Quality Manager in Project and Project Documentation Manager and collaborate with them to maximize customer satisfaction. 
  • Provide support for problem solving on both ongoing and handed over projects (Service, Operation, and others).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a lot of various stakeholders. 

In addition, you will also have a specific role related to data (mainly in SAP): 

  • Ensure correct Quality Assurance documentation based on traceability data in SAP /Secures match of serial numbers in Quality Assurance documentation with SAP.
  • Create the functional location of the wind turbines in SAP.
  • Ensures the preparation of the as-commissioned structure in SAP and handover data in SAP to Service organization. 
  • Furthermore, you will be continuously improving our internal tools and developing our process to be always up to date on changes and interfaces.

What you need to make a difference  

In addition to a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

  • We would like that you would have at minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience from a similar position, ideally as a project coordinator or documentation controller. But we are very open to you having another background with the right skillset and proactivity.
  • You also have extended experience working with MS Office, especially Excel (advanced usage of Pivot tables, macro programming, VBA) and SAP (or you are eager to learn in this domain). 
  • Preferably you have experience with manufacturing and quality assurance within the wind industry. If you are familiar with and/or have a keen interest in IT systems used for Documentation Management such as Aconex, it will be considered a plus.  
  • As a person you are self-driven, detailed orientated and well-structured. You are always to lend out a hand during high workload in the team, and motivated to learn and develop new things. You are also proactive by nature and take ownership while being a dedicated team player.
  • You are comfortable in a fast moving and multicultural environment. 
  • Ideally, we would like you to have a bachelor’s degree, but we gladly welcome your application if you have obtained your skills in an alternative manner.
  • Furthermore, you are fluent in English, and you possess excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders daily, in different levels of the organization.
