Job Description

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Team Lead Accounts Receivable (f/m/x)</strong> to guide a team of five specialists, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and improve our AR processes. The role combines <strong>hands-on accounting</strong> with <strong>team leadership</strong> and <strong>process optimization</strong>, in close collaboration with our Tech and ERP teams.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team (5 members), acting as their first point of contact.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely AR accounting (<em>Buchhaltung Nebenbuch</em>) for monthly and annual closings.</li><li>Oversee invoicing processes and posting of customer transactions.</li><li>Collaborate with controlling, SPV accounting, and other finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.</li><li>Build tracking and reporting structures to improve transparency and facilitate closing activities.</li><li>Partner with Tech/ERP teams to implement and optimize accounting processes and system solutions.</li></ul>

Qualifications

<ul><li><strong>Fluency in German and English</strong> is required.</li><li>Completed <strong>commercial Ausbildung</strong> or degree in accounting/finance — or equivalent professional background.</li><li>Proven experience in <strong>Accounts Receivable / Debitorenbuchhaltung</strong>, including closing activities (<em>Monatsabschluss</em>).</li><li>Proven experience in <strong>mentoring or leading colleagues</strong>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>German GAAP (HGB)</strong>; IFRS is a plus.</li><li>Confident in <strong>ERP systems</strong> and comfortable working with data and reporting tools.</li><li>A structured, hands-on approach with a passion for <strong>process improvement</strong>.</li></ul>
