Senior Development Engineer – Fire & Gas Process Engineering

Drive the design and development of fire & gas detection and suppression systems for medium-size gas turbines and help shape the energy transition.

Business Travel Requirements
Estimated travel ~50 %, especially during the first two years.

Your key responsibilities

• Full life-cycle F&G system engineering – from concept through simulation to validation.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical and control engineering disciplines.
• Perform risk analyses, root-cause problem solving and technical documentation.
• Support prototype testing, site commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, assembly and service teams.

What we are looking for

• MSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Solid experience designing fire-&-gas, ammonia-injection or alternative fuel systems (energy sector preferred).
• Proficiency in simulation and PLM tools.
• Self-driven, analytical mind-set with excellent cross-functional communication.
• Strong command of English; willingness to travel extensively.
