The Repair Engineer is a thorough, dedicated and technically versed customer-facing professional who develops unique repair solutions for engineered-to-order turbomachinery using industry standards and Siemens Energy repair criteria. The goal is to ensure reliability, availability and efficiency of the equipment while prioritising safety and quality in order to return the unit to operating condition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare work instructions, repair shop routers, inspection packages and quality plans
• Create engineering evaluations and procedures for compromised components and coordinate with specialists to deliver accurate repair solutions
• Work closely with production supervisors and lead machinists throughout all project phases to ensure compliance with specifications
• Resolve customer-specific technical issues within required schedules
• Support digitalisation initiatives that optimise processes, e.g. 3-D scanning inspections
• Maintain fleet and repair data through structured reporting and documentation

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; minimum 1 year of experience with rotating equipment, preferably 5+ years in oil & gas or power-generation service
• Solid understanding of turbomachinery theory and repair principles
• Knowledge of machining and mechanical processes plus industry standards (ASME & API)
• Strong analytical mindset, accuracy and solution orientation
• Excellent communication and technical-writing skills
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and dynamic work environments
