Strategy and Operations Associate

Via uses technology to transform transportation worldwide—from changing a single commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint.

As a Strategy and Operations Associate you will support Via’s services and global partners while collaborating with our technical, operational, and commercial teams. You will analyze complex data, derive actionable insights, and develop recommendations to optimize our mobility offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Design and continuously improve Via services for current and future deployments
• Engineer technology-enabled mobility solutions (e.g., first/last-mile connections, coverage optimization, paratransit upgrades)
• Deliver data-driven analyses and strategic advice to partners on routing, fares, and network design
• Interpret large internal data sets to generate concrete business recommendations
• Manage product feedback loops with engineering to guide feature development
• Support the partnerships team in sales processes and expand Via’s deal pipeline
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and entrepreneurial projects

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience with outstanding academic record
• Strong analytical skills; SQL, Excel, Tableau proficiency preferred
• Self-starter with high numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail
• Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills
• Located in the New York City area and able to work on-site
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial or leadership experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: USD 65,000–85,000 annual gross plus equity
