Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Surge Arresters and Composite Insulators

Your scope of work
As a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for surge arresters and composite insulators you design, develop and support high-voltage products. Through calculations, simulations and documentation you ensure that all mechanical designs meet customer specifications and international standards.

Your responsibilities

• Design, calculation and simulation of mechanical components for surge arresters and composite insulators according to IEC, IEEE, EN
• Creation and maintenance of 3D models, drawings and bills of materials using CAD software (e.g. Creo)
• Technical documentation for new designs and product modifications
• Support for internal teams (testing, sales) as well as customers and suppliers
• Project coordination: cost, schedules, manufacturing processes to secure quality and efficiency

Your profile

• Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional experience with high-voltage equipment and 3D-CAD (Creo)
• Knowledge of standards IEC, IEEE, EN, Eurocode and PLM software
• Business-fluent German and English
• Independent, analytical working style and team player
