Payroll Accountant (German-speaking)

Your responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll for 900+ employees in Germany together with our external payroll provider
• Keep up-to-date with German tax, wage and social-security regulations
• Data maintenance, periodic audits and continuous process improvement
• Accurate calculation of benefit deductions and tax withholdings
• Monthly payroll journal entries and general-ledger reconciliation
• Primary contact for employees on payroll-related queries
• Ad-hoc projects to support the finance team
• Strict confidentiality and data-privacy compliance

Your profile

• 3+ years of German payroll experience
• Proficient with HRIS (e.g. P&I Loga) and advanced MS Excel
• High accuracy and reliability even with complex data sets
• Strong process mindset and solution orientation
• Fluent in German and English
