Quality Inspector

Do you have an eye for quality and detail and want to ensure first-class components for the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer? Vestas is looking for a Quality Inspector at our Main Component Warehouse in Videbæk.

Our warehouse receives, inspects and distributes new and refurbished main components for wind turbines worldwide. The site is part of Global Warehouse Operations with locations in Randers, Esbjerg, Videbæk, Hodenhagen (Germany) and numerous Kanban locations around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Visual and documented inspection of main components on receipt
• Approve test reports and quality documentation
• Register and update component data in SAP and VDD
• Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
• Evaluate and improve internal quality work instructions
• Preserve and maintain components in stock

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
• Valid Danish driving licence and forklift certificate
• Professional command of Danish and English, written and spoken
• Mechanical understanding and knowledge of electrical concepts
• Experience with Vestas wind turbines is an advantage

Work location: Videbæk, Denmark – physical attendance 5 days/week.
Working hours: Mon-Thu 07:00-15:20, Fri 07:00-13:15.
