Junior SEO Manager (m/f/d)

With Heartbeat AI we are building the energy system of the future – combining regional craftmanship with scalable software and linking solar, battery, heat pump and e-mobility directly to the electricity market. By 2030 we aim to convert 1.5 million households to renewable energy.

To drive our growth we are looking for a Junior SEO Manager (m/f/d) who will boost our organic visibility with analytical sharpness and technical curiosity.

Your responsibilities

• Keyword & competitor research as the foundation of our content strategy
• Automated website sanity checks and technical crawls (Screaming Frog) for continuous hygiene monitoring
• Implementation of on-page optimisations and assurance of clean content roll-out
• Generative & Answer Engine Optimisation: make content fit for AI-powered search results
• Develop SEO workflows and automations with AI tools (LLMs, n8n, Make, Zapier)
• Cross-location collaboration with international teams; translate strategic guidelines into operational briefings

Your profile

• Degree in business, media, information systems, marketing or similar field
• First practical SEO experience, ideally with tools such as Search Console, Ahrefs, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog
• Tech-savvy and eager to shape AI workflows
• Data-driven mindset and strong understanding of user intent
• Hands-on mentality, high self-initiative and enjoyment of rapid, practical implementation
• Fluent German and English; additional languages (e.g. Spanish) are a plus
