Assistant District Service Manager

Siemens Energy is seeking a motivated professional for the position of Assistant District Service Manager to support the Distributed fleet across North America. You will coordinate resources for installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of gas turbines and generators, act as primary customer and field-service interface and support the District Service Manager in solving complex issues. You will maintain customer relationships and collaborate closely with internal platform teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage customer interface within the district; identify technical and commercial risks and opportunities
• Supervise on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of equipment
• Take responsibility for district P&L and reporting
• Develop maintenance strategies with internal and external customers
• Plan and cost complex proposals
• Coordinate platform teams (LTP, Sales, Warranty, Parts) to deliver best-in-class service
• Lead and develop 5–15 district engineers and support staff
• Report key technical, commercial and customer issues to district management

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering plus minimum 5 years of power-generation service experience
• Proven experience maintaining large and small gas turbines, generators and related equipment
• Experience working with union and non-union labor
• Proficiency with Primavera or Microsoft Project, SAP and Excel; proven budget-management skills
• Up to 25 % travel required
• U.S. work authorization without Siemens Energy sponsorship required
