Retail Merchant Apprenticeship – Geretsried (2026)

During your 3-year retail merchant apprenticeship at Denns BioMarkt you will rotate through every department – from shelf stocking, cash desk, bistro and bakery & cheese counter to back office. You will learn to present premium organic foods attractively, advise customers expertly on natural products, manage ordering, goods-in, quality control and storage, and support marketing and seasonal promotions.

Your tasks

• Merchandising and maintaining the product range
• Customer consultation and sales
• Cashiering and cash reconciliation
• Inventory management (ordering, receiving, checking, storing)
• Supporting promotions and seasonal placements

• Good school record, preferably with intermediate school-leaving certificate
• Enjoy dealing with customers and excellent manners
• Strong team spirit, commitment and reliability
• Interest in organic and natural products
