Backend Engineer: Platform API – Vietnam

Your Responsibilities

• Co-design data models, architecture, data flows, and API contracts.
• Update Jira tickets, submit well-documented pull requests, and conduct code reviews.
• Develop scalable, resilient APIs in Go following Clean Architecture and security best practices.
• Maintain and extend Open-API documentation.
• Create unit and integration tests for high test coverage.

Your Profile

• 3+ years professional experience in Go and backend development.
• 3+ years SQL experience with normalized data structures.
• Strong debugging and performance-analysis skills.
• Experience with unit and integration tests.
• Excellent English proficiency.

Your First Milestones

• Day 1: Clone repository, install tooling, build project locally.
• Week 1: Familiarize yourself with the codebase, pick up tickets.
• Month 1: Submit first pull requests, give team reviews, advance projects.
• Year 1: Actively shape processes and architecture.

Employment Type

Permanent full-time position in Vietnam under Vietnamese labor law.
