Commissioning Manager for HVDC

Your Role:

Lead the commissioning of high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) transmission systems on time, on budget and to quality standards. Manage an international team of commissioning engineers and ensure compliance with contractual, legal and safety requirements. Organise preliminary tests (FST/FAT) at our test bays, monitor construction-site progress and document it together with suppliers and partners. Plan and conduct technical clarifications with customers and support project management in risk and claim handling. Actively contribute to continuous-improvement programmes (Lean, Lessons Learned).

Your Profile:

• University degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, or comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience
• Several years of commissioning or commissioning-management experience on large-scale plants (e.g. HVDC, power plants, switchgear)
• Willingness to travel worldwide and to work on construction sites in Germany and abroad for extended periods; offshore assignments optional
• Basic project-management knowledge
• Very good English; German is an advantage
• Strong decision-making, results-orientation and communication skills in international/intercultural teams
