Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (South East)

Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need smart-meter engineers with a proven safety record and a flair for customer excellence.

You’ll represent Octopus Energy in customers’ homes, fitting dual-fuel smart meters, demonstrating in-home displays and explaining how smart technology helps households cut energy use and carbon emissions. You’ll answer questions on the green-energy transition and leave every home confident and inspired.

What you’ll need

• MOCoPA (achieved within the last three years) and evidence on request
• Gas Safe: CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (max six penalty points)

• £36,500 base salary (£3,042 gross/month)

Call-out & overtime

• One-in-five-week call-out rota (Mon-Sun) with £250 weekly retainer; door-to-door pay when called out
• Saturday working: £50 attendance + £70 dual-fuel install / £35 single-fuel install
• Technical aborts paid at half rate
