Your contribution to Zero Harm
As EHS Officer you ensure flawless implementation of our EHS strategy at Indian oil & gas compressor stations and thus contribute to the goal of “Zero Harm”.
Your responsibilities
- Hands-on EHS advice to project management and clients on standards, legislation (OISD, DGMS, OMR) and risk management
- Multi-site implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and internal EHS management systems
- Carry out risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSA) and method statements; review SWMS, LMRA & isolation plans
- Regular site tours to monitor high-risk activities (work at height, LOTO, confined space, lifting, hot work)
- Accident and near-miss investigations including action tracking
- Monitor & report EHS KPIs and transparent reporting to management
- Selection and evaluation of contractors; ensure training, competency verification and PPE issuance
- Maintenance of EHS documentation (policies, permits, SDS, training records, ISO files)
Your profile
- 10–12 years EHS experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in O&M of reciprocating gas compressors
- Degree in engineering or natural sciences plus government-recognised diploma in industrial safety
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor
- Sound knowledge of PTW, isolation, LOTO, safety and environmental regulations
- Strong incident investigation and risk-assessment skills
- Willingness to travel nationwide to remote sites
- Fluent English and solid MS-Office skills; experience with EHS software, Power BI/Tableau and SAP advantageous
