Electrician – Wales

Octopus Energy is accelerating the global renewable-energy transition and needs qualified electricians across Wales to install cutting-edge low-carbon technology in customers’ homes.

Role scope

Depending on your experience, you will install and commission one or more of the following:

• Electric-vehicle charge points
• Air-source heat pumps
• Solar PV systems

You will be the face of Octopus Energy, delivering safe, high-quality workmanship and an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install low-carbon electrical technologies to industry and company standards
• Carry out inspection & testing and complete certification
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
• Maintain accurate digital job records via Octopus systems
• Continuously upskill at our dedicated R&D training centre

Essential qualifications & licences

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Part P / installation qualification
• Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (≤ 6 penalty points)

Advantageous

• EV-charger or solar-specific certifications
• Heat-pump or battery-storage experience
• Strong customer-service background
