Development Engineer (f/m/d) for Steam Turbine Controllers

Your responsibilities
As a development engineer for transient operation you create control concepts for steam turbines and new energy-transition products. You define operating modes and limits (e.g. start-up times) and accompany implementation during commissioning. You also provide technical support throughout project execution from proposal to customer acceptance and continuously develop our design rules and programs.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering focusing on thermodynamics, mechanics or process engineering (or equivalent)
• Several years of professional experience and strong expertise in thermodynamics and mechanics
• Experience in turbomachinery control and proficiency in industrial control systems such as Omnivise T3000
• Knowledge of large power plants, especially the turbine-generator set; commissioning experience desirable
• Analytical mindset, self-reliant working style, teamwork skills and fluent German and English
