Hardware/Software Engineer Automation

Your Day with Us
As a Hardware/Software Engineer (Automation) you will plan automation systems (ICMS, IMAC/ACS, PMS, HVAC, emergency shutdown) and develop customer-specific products that meet budget and quality targets. You create software and documentation and provide fault analysis and support.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions per customer requirements and industry standards
• Develop software and technical documentation within the project scope
• Provide technical support, investigate faults and solve problems
• Align deliverables with customer specifications and contractual agreements
• Deliver projects on time and within budget in cross-functional teams

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Fluent German and English, strong technical English for automation and process engineering
• Sound knowledge of process engineering and ability to read P&IDs
• Experience with PCS7, Profinet, Modbus TCP
• Understanding of network technology (firewalls, routers, secure network design)
• Familiar with HMI/SCADA systems such as ZENON and WinCC/OA
