FPI Rework Manufacturing Technician 1st Shift 6am–2pm

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will use hand tools and measuring devices to assess part quality, strictly following quality procedures at the Gibsonton, Florida facility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate test equipment on castings within the FPI rework area.
• Perform inspections using UV-light devices.
• Maintain GMP-compliant documentation, adjust machine parameters, control settings, and correct quality deviations.
• Clean and maintain equipment, drive continuous-improvement projects and support tool changeovers.
• Operate hand tools such as die grinders, abrasive belts, grinders, files, and measuring devices.
• Carry out additional duties and cross-training as required.

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 1 year of experience with hand tools preferred.
• Proficiency with inspection equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.), metric system, math, reading engineering instructions, and mechanical aptitude.
• Background in plastics, metal casting, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
• Position may require an export license under U.S. export-control regulations.
