Regional Technical Sales Manager – Compression Service Projects

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Regional Technical Sales Manager for Compression Service Projects you will lead technical sales and order capture for our advanced compression service business.

You will build and grow a qualified sales funnel, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve revenue targets. You will prepare formal bids and integrated proposals and support contract negotiations together with regional commercial, legal and finance teams.

You will harmonise offerings across multiple product lines – especially under the One Train Approach with gas and steam turbines – and integrate local content. Together with the Global CP M&U team you will develop a joint strategy and thus shape our business decisively.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and grow a qualified sales funnel to meet compression-service sales targets through close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of formal bids and integrated proposals and support customer negotiations alongside regional commercial, legal and finance teams.
  • Support harmonisation and integration of multiple product lines, particularly when implementing the One Train Approach with gas and steam turbines.
  • Manage regional cost modelling (field service, project management, locally procured parts) and oversee the internal bid-approval process.
  • Align with the Global CP M&U team to develop a joint strategy that supports our business goals.

What You Bring

  • University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable professional experience.
  • Proven success in developing and closing complex sales projects with direct customer interaction.
  • Strong market and competitive insight, able to perform market, risk and life-cycle-cost analyses.
  • Product knowledge of centrifugal compressors.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills in English and German.
