Your Day in a Nutshell
You support manufacturing plants in developing safe, cost-effective repair methods for wind-turbine blades, balancing aerodynamic/structural performance, repair cost and HSE requirements. You identify quality and cost-improvement opportunities through design adjustments, tolerance updates and enhanced repair processes while driving production innovation and automation for large blades.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Design structural repair methods to correct deviations, optimising blade viability, cost and HSE.
Drive quality and cost-reduction initiatives via Design-for-Manufacturing, tolerance updates and repair-process improvements.
Support innovation and automation projects for large-blade manufacturing.
Analyse in-field or transport blade damage, determine root cause and define containment/ repair plans.
Perform structural calculations, simulations and mechanical tests.
Act as interface between engineering and plants; align on quick fixes, non-conformities and production tests.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s+ in mechanical engineering / structural analysis or related.
5+ years’ wind-industry experience preferred.
Deep understanding of composite structures; blade technology advantageous.
Strong communicator who values listening and knowledge sharing.
Passion for continuous improvement and automation.
Fluent English (written & spoken) for a multicultural environment.
Structured, self-driven, capable of managing multiple assignments.
