Senior Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer you will shape the COMOS PLM cloud platform for around 800 users. You develop cost-optimized and performance-enhancing Azure solutions, collaborate with global platform and domain teams and ensure high availability, security and resilience of the cloud infrastructure – a contribution to Siemens Energy’s digital transformation.

What you will do

• Re-engineer and continuously optimize Azure processes to increase operational efficiency
• Design and operate Azure IaaS components: VMs, VNets, Availability Sets, Recovery Services Vault, Load Balancer, NSGs
• Azure policy design for consistent and compliant service rollout
• Resource and subscription management incl. quota control
• Troubleshooting and performance analysis in close cooperation with global teams
• Mentor junior colleagues and build knowledge within the team

What you bring

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience as DevOps Engineer in Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in Terraform and PowerShell for automation and incident resolution
• In-depth knowledge of Azure regions, subscriptions and resource management
• Analytical mindset, strong communication skills and fluent English
• Proactive, self-driven way of working in international projects
