A Snapshot of Your Day

As Senior Strategic Marketing Specialist supporting the Digital Grid business, you will act as a strategic marketing advisor to the marketing and leadership team – translating business priorities and market dynamics into targeted marketing strategies that accelerate our digitalization growth and innovation agenda. As part of the strategic marketing, you will directly contribute to positioning Siemens Energy’s Digital Grid portfolio in key markets and global events, and develop marketing activities that drive awareness, engagement, and demand in alignment with our business strategy.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Digital Grid department to design, execute, and optimize market-facing initiatives that communicate our value proposition – showing how our digital solutions enable a more resilient, intelligent, and sustainable power grid to customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. By leveraging data-driven insights, AI, market intelligence, and innovative go-to-market tactics, you will help capture new opportunities, provide insights to the marketing and business strategy team and strengthen Siemens Energy’s competitive position in the evolving energy landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Strategically position the Digital Grid business with its portfolio as a leading innovator in digitalization, smart grid technologies, and grid modernization, along with Translating business objectives into integrated marketing strategies and design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
• Develop high-impact value propositions, product positioning, and messaging frameworks including reference stories, case studies, and proof points tailored for target segments.
• Partner with senior leaders and Marketing colleagues to align marketing priorities with portfolio and innovation roadmaps, championing a growth-oriented, customer-centric culture within the Digital Grid business.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that clearly communicate the value of complex digitalization solutions in the energy sector.
• Act as a bridge and ambassador between Digital Grid and the marketing organization, ensuring both sides are aligned on priorities, definitions, and messaging.
• Participate actively in Steering Circles to coordinate efforts and establish a consistent, professional marketing approach for successful market implementation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years+ experience in B2B marketing within energy sectors with profound understanding of smart grid and grid automation.
• Hands‑on experience in Digital Energy, with deep, practical exposure to digital transformation initiatives, grid modernization technologies, advanced automation systems, and energy digitalization platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical information.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior levels and being comfortable operating in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions and geographies.
• Willing to travel 5% domestically and internationally.
