Senior Secondary Design Engineer - Siemens Energy, Cairo Egypt

Your Day-to-Day: As Senior Secondary Design Engineer you design and document protection, control and automation systems for substations. You prepare schematics, review vendor offers, size CT/VT and auxiliary power supplies, and conduct protection coordination studies. Close collaboration with customers, suppliers and cross-disciplinary teams ensures on-time, high-quality engineering deliverables for sustainable power infrastructure projects.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5–7 years of secondary engineering experience in substations
• Proficiency in ELCAD and AutoCAD
• Experience with protection, control and automation systems
• Knowledge of national and international standards (IEC/IEEE)
• Certifications in ETAP or equivalent and prior customer approvals preferred
