Shuttle Operator – Electric Community Shuttle

Join Via as a Shuttle Operator for the Bayview-Hunters Point Community Shuttle and drive electric vans while delivering outstanding customer care.

What You’ll Do:

• Transport riders safely and courteously in electric vehicles
• Master shuttle operations and safety procedures
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and routine vehicle checks

Who You Are:

• Excellent city knowledge & clean driving record
• Conversational English
• Able to operate wheelchair-accessible vans and sensitive to passengers’ needs
• Patient, empathetic, community focused
• Capable of handling 400+ lb wheelchairs and mobility aids
• Valid California driver’s license
• Pass drug screen, DMV and background checks
• Minimum 25 years of age
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $29.17/hour (≈ $5,056 gross/month @ 40 h)
