Lathe Operator – Conventional Lathe

We are the department manufacturing small and medium-sized parts for industrial steam turbines. Our mission is to deliver seals, bearings and other components on schedule while maintaining the highest quality. Your responsibilities:

• Operate a conventional lathe with digital readout
• Clamping and machining of varied single-piece components
• Handling workpieces up to 5 t with overhead crane
• Use measuring tools: calipers, depth gauge, micrometer, bore gauge, Johannsen blocks, calibration
• Read technical drawings
• Follow technological and work procedures
• Cooperate with process engineering
• Maintain your workplace
• Observe health, safety and environmental rules

What you should bring:

• Vocational or secondary technical education in mechanical engineering
• Ability to use basic measuring instruments
• Good orientation in technical drawings and procedures
• Technical thinking
• Willingness to work 3-shift pattern
• Prior experience on conventional lathes advantageous
