Senior Materials Buyer

A Snapshot of Your Day

You manage and coordinate the flow of materials from suppliers to production, planning, scheduling and monitoring material movement to meet production schedules and optimise inventory levels. You collaborate closely with procurement (SPR), production, quality and logistics teams to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Use MRP SAP system and internal tools to determine material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.
• Coordinate continuously with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules and resolve issues via meetings, calls and e-mails.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure reliable supply.
• Support production planning to guarantee material availability.
• Work with warehouse and quality teams to ensure fast, accurate goods receipt; provide correct documentation (invoices, prices, POs, quantities) to avoid delays.
• Conduct supplier evaluations according to set frequency.

What You Bring

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, Logistics or related field.
• Proficiency in SAP and planning software.
• Negotiation skills to balance inventory levels, minimise costs and ensure availability.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10 %.

You will work closely with Factory Management, commercial and technical teams and other support functions.
