As Supply Chain Due Diligence Specialist you will implement and manage due-diligence processes across our global supply chain according to the OECD 6-step framework. You will embed ESG assessments into the Supplier Life Cycle Management, prepare Vestas for regulatory requirements such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and ensure responsible sourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalize supply-chain due-diligence processes aligned with the OECD standard
  • Conduct ESG assessments of new suppliers during onboarding; ensure defined minimum thresholds are met
  • Implement and continuously improve third-party platforms for assessment and monitoring
  • Develop and track corrective-action plans and risk-mitigation strategies
  • Secure high-quality data for ESG KPIs in cooperation with all relevant functions
  • Monitor regulatory developments (e.g. CSDDD) and adapt internal processes accordingly
  • Support audit readiness and plan and evaluate supplier audits together with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in supply-chain due-diligence, responsible sourcing and auditing; industrial-sector background is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and UN Guiding Principles; experience with digital ESG platforms
  • Proven expertise in supplier engagement, risk mitigation and corrective-action planning
  • Solid change-management skills
  • Strong command of English; Chinese language skills are a plus
