Lead our autonomous mobility embedded systems!

As part of the Volkswagen Group, MOIA is building a scalable Level-4 autonomous-driving platform. Based in Hamburg, we are looking for a VP Embedded Systems Engineering to take full ownership of architecture, integration, safety, validation and release of our embedded vehicle systems.

Your mission

• Define strategy and roadmap for all embedded systems in autonomous mobility
• Lead cross-functional teams (SW, HW, test, connectivity) of 80+ people
• Ensure functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
• Steer internal VW Group units, technology partners and Tier-1 suppliers
• Own multi-million-euro budgets, project and resource planning
• Drive technology scouting and platform scalability
• Represent MOIA in technical boards and decision committees

Your profile

• Proven leadership in embedded systems for highly automated vehicles (Level 3/4)
• Track record of shipping complex automotive embedded systems to production
• Deep expertise in embedded SW/HW architecture, system integration and validation
• Strong command of ISO 26262, cybersecurity, V2X cloud connectivity
• Visible executive presence and board-level communication skills
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on attitude
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus
