Your tasks

• Data preparation: Design, write and optimise efficient SQL models to transform operational data into reliable, analysable data sets
• BI development: Support the build, maintenance and evolution of our Business Intelligence platform by creating LookML views, dimensions and KPIs and developing well-structured, scalable data models
• Dashboards & visualisation: Design and develop intuitive, meaningful Looker dashboards that enable stakeholders to track key metrics, analyse trends and make data-driven decisions
• Troubleshooting & optimisation: Analyse and fix errors in SQL queries and LookML code, solve data issues and continuously improve performance and data quality
• Analysis & reporting: Develop new calculations and data analyses to expand our reporting functionality and deliver practical, actionable insights for various business areas
• Collaboration: Work closely with Data, Product and Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or a comparable quantitative degree programme
• Solid SQL skills and knowledge of the difference between JOINs and UNIONs
• Analytical mindset, enjoyment of complex tasks and a keen eye for detail
• Self-initiative, willingness to learn and curiosity for new technologies – asking questions is part of your approach
• Clear, concise communication in German and English, both verbally and in writing
