Machine Operator (f/m/d)

Your contribution to the energy transition
As a Machine Operator (f/m/d) at the Siemens Energy generator plant in Erfurt, you will manufacture large electrical generators, drive machines and rotating grid stabilizers for the global energy supply.

Your responsibilities

• Set up and operate tools and fixtures according to internal standards
• Produce sheet-metal segments, operate cross-cutting line, punching and painting systems and other metal-processing machines
• Self-inspection of all work steps
• Possible specialization in tool-making
• Localize faults and carry out or initiate repairs

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training
• Several years’ experience in metal processing
• Strong quality awareness, initiative and manual dexterity
• Willingness to work shifts and affinity for machinery
• Fork-lift and/or crane licence advantageous
