Backend Engineer – Smart Mobility & Sustainability

Help Via shape the future of mobility: We develop smart, eco-friendly transport solutions worldwide that make cities more sustainable and livable. For our R&D team in Tel Aviv we are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to build scalable systems that connect millions of passengers and reduce CO₂ emissions.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop and operate microservices for global mobility platforms
• End-to-end ownership of new product features from idea to production
• Shape system architecture and technical standards to ensure scalability and sustainability
• Implement high-performance, maintainable code base (Java, Python, Go, Node.js)
• Agile collaboration with interdisciplinary teams of engineering, design and product management
• Continuous optimization through new technologies and best practices
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to improve code quality

Your profile:

• Degree in computer science or comparable experience
• 3+ years backend development in complex, cloud-based environments
• Strong command of modern programming languages and frameworks
• Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, data structures and multithreading
• Passion for clean code, test automation and DevOps culture
• Team spirit, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for innovative solutions for sustainable mobility
