Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (South East)

Help us accelerate the global renewable-energy revolution. Octopus Energy is hiring Dual-Fuel Smart Meter Engineers across the South East to deliver safe, customer-first installations in domestic properties.

Your role

• Install and commission electricity & gas smart meters and in-home displays
• Explain to customers how their new meters work and how they can cut energy use
• Act as the face of Octopus Energy, upholding our reputation for outstanding service
• Follow industry best-practice for safety, quality and data accuracy

Essential qualifications

• MOCoPA (obtained within last 3 years – evidence required)
• Gas Safe: CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (≤ 6 penalty points)

Package

£36,500 base salary (£3,042/month gross) + £2,500 annual performance bonus + piece-work fit bonuses

• £25 weekly lunch allowance
• Company van, fuel, tools, PPE supplied
• 600 Octopus Energy Group share options
• £15 extra for every asset installed above your 6th daily target
• Call-out rota (1 week in 5): £250 retainer + door-to-door pay if called out
• Saturday premium: £50 attendance + £70/£35 per dual-/single-fuel job
