The Role
As Senior Electrical Engineer you will design power-electronics avionics for our next-generation aircraft. You will own board-level architectures for motor inverters, power distribution, battery management, fail-safe systems and high-speed communications—ruggedized for harsh environments and certified for worldwide operation.

Responsibilities

• Full design cycle: requirements, prototyping, schematic, layout, validation and high-volume production
• System architecture focusing on fault tolerance, power, mass, thermal and cost optimization
• Risk-driven trade studies and decisive design direction
• Cross-functional collaboration from concept to field deployment

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of circuit design, PCB layout and integration experience
• Proven track record with safety-critical electronics (aerospace, medical, transportation)
• Hands-on expertise in power converters, motor drives, analog sensing, and communication buses (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, LVDS)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to work from our South San Francisco office
