Your mission is to enable Climeworks’ entry and growth in Canada, with a pronounced emphasis on policy and building government support, as well as project development activities, at both the federal and provincial levels.
You spearhead the advancement of public funding and enabling policies for Climeworks’ business in Canada, ensuring a robust policy support environment.
You actively build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and influencers. You create and leverage coalitions and collaborations to advance real policy outcomes.
You engage with political and bureaucratic government officials, Indigenous peoples and communities, environmental organizations, and industry leaders to build support for Direct Air Capture (DAC) and the policies needed to deploy it.
You represent Climeworks as a spokesperson and advocate in events, conferences, and in national and local media to increase awareness and understanding of DAC technology among key opinion leaders
You monitor and submit written input to relevant political and scientific initiatives, such as stakeholder consultations and scientific white papers.
