Manufacturing Technician – Core Finishing 2nd Shift 2 pm–10 pm

A Snapshot of Your Day

Process turbine cores with files, ultrasonic machines and sandpaper; repair cores with alumina-based material according to work instructions at the Gibsonton, Florida site.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Operate the Mercury system for time tracking and work instruction retrieval; meet daily targets set by team leads.
• Switch on lighting and extraction in downdraft booths.
• Inspect parts under magnification; identify defects and verify completion.
• Grind parting lines on cores with diamond tools and sandpaper; remove tie bars with pneumatic tools.
• Replenish consumables at workstations.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches and Allen keys.

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, metric system and elementary math.
• Ability to read engineering instructions and manual dexterity.
• US work authorization without future employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to comply with US export-control regulations; export licence from relevant authorities may be required.
