How to contribute to our visionThis role is for the Manager of the Southern Europe Global warehouse. You will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse ensuring safety of personnel, assets, equipment and stock at all times whilst also ensuring efficient inbound, storage and outbound of goods in a timely manner and in accordance with safety regulations and procedures. 

The role has overall responsibility for the team and ensuring that the supervisors have clear direction for their shift teams. Management and coaching of shift leads and direct reports to ensure alignment with global processes and systems whilst delivering excellent service to customers and bringing unified approach with the teams to ensure on time delivery.

You will be responsible for warehouse layout and process improvements to ensure that the on-time delivery to our customers improves working with key stakeholders and global process specialists to further develop improvement ideas. 

You will work with closely with the sales and operations teams and the procurement teams to ensure high parts availability and delivery reliability whilst working together on improvements for stock and supplier deliveries. 

Your mission will be to contribute towards the delivery reliability of supply chain to ensure delivery of the right parts, at the right place, at the right time.

Your key responsibilities are:•    Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow.•    Manage inventory to ensure accurate stock levels confirmed by rolling stock checks.•    Coordinate inbound, outbound and excess stock return activities to ensure timely delivery.•    Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure safe working environment.•    Management of the local 3PL warehouse provider.•    Develop, implement and improve warehouse policies and procedures aligned with the global process owners.•    Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement within the complete supply chain.•    Collaborate with other key stakeholders such as sales and operations planning, procurement and transport to streamline operations.•    Manage budgets and optimize warehouse space and resources.•    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards at all times.•    Working with Stakeholders such as Real Estate, Security, Site landlord & IT teams to solve day to day issues

What You Need to Make a DifferenceBesides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for: 

  • a results oriented motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • you are motivated by leading the teams to provide quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
  • you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be accustomed to working to set, tight timescales and will demonstrate the ability to adapt to any sudden changes in the priorities.
  • you will have proven experience in warehouse management or logistics ideally with both internal warehouses and 3PL management, with knowledge of safety regulation and best practices in warehouse operations. 
  • more than 5 years’ managerial experience leading teams in areas of warehouse or logistics with a proven track record of driving improvements.
